Ryoki Sakurai

Ryoki is your typical 18-year old finishing off her senior year of high school. Although she doesn't have any recollection of her birth parents, she enjoys spending time with her adoptive father, Shouhei. Ryoki can be very sweet, but has a bit of an aggressive streak -- she isn't afraid to act cocky or bitchy if she feels the target (or the world itself!) deserves it. She frequently gets into minor scuffles with the guys at her school. A curious girl, she can't help but wonder why Haeilios seems to be following her, even if it does scare her more than just a little bit...

Shouhei Sakurai

Although he has led a pretty full life, Shouhei has only given his young daughter only the barest hints of what led him to Greece, and to Ryoki, so many years ago. He smiles and jokes and tries desperately to be "hip" and "cool", but always seems to just barely miss the mark -- probably because he thinks it's funnier that way. He's fiercely loyal to his daughter and to the memory of his wife, and struggles daily with accepting the realities of being the single parent of a strong-willed teenager. At least, he muses, it can't get much tougher than it is now!
